After more than two decades of working with CBS Studios, Tichina Arnold is stepping into an exciting new chapter in her career.
The beloved actress, director, and producer has signed a first-look deal with CBS Studios under her production company Queen Light Productions, which she launched with her sister Zenay Arnold.
While fans are preparing to say goodbye to “The Neighborhood,” which will wrap its eighth and final season this year, Tichina is already looking ahead with new projects in development.
“I am extremely excited to have a first look deal with CBS Studios,” Tichina shared. “My sister Zenay and I started a company called Queen Light, and it’s amazing to continue working creatively with a studio and team that we’ve already been part of for so long.”
A Mystery Project Is Already In The Works
Tichina Arnold also revealed she’s quietly developing a project about a very prominent woman and singer who lived a fascinating life.
However, she’s keeping the details close for now.
Tichina explained that the last time she spoke publicly about the idea, the project ended up happening without her involvement.
So this time around, she’s choosing to keep things under wraps until the moment is right to share more.
And honestly, that just makes me even more curious about what she’s working on.
A 20-Year Relationship With CBS Studios
Tichina Arnold’s relationship with CBS Studios stretches back more than two decades and includes several memorable television roles.
She starred in “Everybody Hates Chris,” which premiered in 2005 and followed the childhood of comedian Chris Rock, played by Tyler James Williams.
Years later, Tichina returned to the studio for “The Neighborhood,” which debuted on CBS in 2018 and went on to produce more than 150 episodes.
During the show’s run, Tichina Arnold also stepped behind the camera and directed her second episode of television, which will air during the final season.
She continues to expand her television footprint with the animated series “Everybody Still Hates Chris” and also made a guest appearance on “Crutch,” both available to stream on Paramount+.
Long before those roles, Tichina became a household name playing Pam on the iconic comedy “Martin,” starring alongside Martin Lawrence and Tisha Campbell.
Saying Goodbye To “The Neighborhood”

With production now officially wrapped, Tichina Arnold admitted the final day on set was emotional.
Even though she says she’s not usually one to cry, the moment still felt heavy after eight seasons of working alongside a cast and crew who had become like family.
“Eight seasons of working on The Neighborhood have taught me so much,” she said, reflecting on the experience. “What made the experience so special was that everyone genuinely wanted to be there.”
For Tichina, leading with gratitude helped soften the bittersweet moment of saying goodbye.
A Message For Fans Ahead Of The Finale
While the end of “The Neighborhood” is approaching, Tichina says fans still have plenty to look forward to before the series finale airs in May.
According to her, the final episodes will continue delivering the warmth, humor, and feel-good moments that made the show a favorite for families everywhere.
And if you’ve ever sat down and watched “The Neighborhood” with family or friends, you already know that kind of comfort TV is something audiences truly appreciate.
