Apple TV has released the official trailer for “The Dynasty: UConn Huskies,” a new three-part documentary chronicling the legendary UConn women’s basketball program under Hall of Fame head coach Geno Auriemma.
Premiering globally on Friday, August 21, 2026, the series takes viewers inside one of the most successful dynasties in college basketball history with exclusive interviews, never-before-seen archival footage, and behind-the-scenes access.
What Is ‘The Dynasty: UConn Huskies’ About?
Directed by Emmy Award winner Matthew Hamachek and Emmy Award nominee Erica Sashin, the docuseries explores the culture, pressure, and sacrifices behind UConn’s decades of dominance.
Along with members of the 2025 National Championship team, the series features interviews with players, coaches, alumni, rivals, and journalists who helped shape and document the program’s remarkable legacy.
