Alicia Brown, Big Tigger’s Wife, Arrested On Maryland Kidnapping-Related Warrants

Alicia Brown's mugshot following her arrest in Hart County, Georgia, on Maryland kidnapping-related warrants.

Frens, this Big Tigger saga just took another major turn. Alicia Denise Brown, the estranged wife of Atlanta radio personality Big Tigger, was arrested in north Georgia after authorities said she was wanted on kidnapping-related warrants out of Maryland.

According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a “Be On the Lookout” alert around 8:46 p.m. on July 6 regarding a vehicle traveling north on Interstate 85.

Authorities believed the driver was wanted on outstanding kidnapping-related warrants from Maryland.

Deputies located the vehicle on I-85 and, with assistance from the Georgia State Patrol, conducted a felony traffic stop.

Officials said the driver, 37-year-old Alicia Denise Brown of Atlanta, was arrested.

Two young children were found inside the vehicle and safely recovered. Authorities said neither child was injured.

Alicia Brown Arrested During Georgia Traffic Stop

According to the sheriff’s office, Alicia was wanted by the Baltimore County Police Department on warrants connected to the disappearance of a 10-year-old child who was reported missing in 2019.

Officials also said the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office wanted Brown on felony charges of interference with child custody.

Authorities confirmed the warrants were valid, and Maryland officials indicated they plan to seek Brown’s extradition.

In a statement, Sheriff Chris Carroll credited multiple agencies for the arrest and safe recovery of the children.

“We are thankful for the quick response and teamwork of our deputies, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia State Patrol, and all assisting agencies,” Sheriff Carroll said. “Their coordinated efforts resulted in the safe recovery of both children and the successful apprehension of the suspect.”

The investigation remains ongoing.

Missing Child Case Dates Back To 2019

According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Ailiea Brown has been missing since May 25, 2019, from Reisterstown, Maryland.

She would now be 17 years old.

The organization previously stated that Ailiea may be in the company of her mother.

According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, Alicia Brown’s Maryland warrants are connected to the disappearance of the child, who was 10 years old when she was reported missing.

The case has been active for years, and this latest arrest has brought renewed attention to Ailiea’s disappearance.

Father Of Missing Child Speaks Out

According to The Shade Room, Durrell Williams, the father of the missing child, appeared on the “Nina & Joe Afternoon Show” on WHUR-FM on July 7 and addressed Alicia Brown’s arrest.

Williams reportedly said he had been informed of Alicia’s arrest and knew that his daughter, Aileah Brown, was not one of the two children found in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.

He also told the hosts that he knows his daughter is alive.

That statement has added another layer to an already complicated and deeply concerning situation.

How This Connects To Big Tigger

Alicia Brown is the estranged wife of Atlanta radio host Darian Morgan, better known as Big Tigger.

Last month, Sandy Springs police arrested Big Tigger following an alleged domestic dispute involving Alicia.

According to police records, the alleged incident happened during an argument in the couple’s bedroom over text messages from a female co-worker.

Alicia accused Big Tigger of grabbing her arms and making her stumble headfirst into an office door. She reported cuts and bruises to police.

The third-degree cruelty to children charge stems from authorities saying the couple’s son was home at the time.

Big Tigger has denied the allegations.

In a statement shared on Instagram, he wrote:

“For as long as I’ve been in this industry, my focus has always been to keep the spotlight on the culture and the incredible people I get to interview.

But right now, my personal life is in the public eye and has become the subject of overwhelming speculation and misinformation.

Through all of this, what hurts the most is being away from my son. Nothing is more important to me than being a great father.

So I’ve decided to step away from the mic for a while to focus on my family and give my legal team the room they need.

As I previously said, I unequivocally deny every allegation, and I am looking forward to clearing my name.

Thank you so much all for the love and support.”

Big Tigger Steps Away From V-103

Following his arrest, Big Tigger announced he is stepping away from “The Big Tigger Morning Show” on V-103.

He said his personal life had become the subject of public speculation and misinformation, and he wanted to focus on his family while allowing his legal team to handle the case.

Big Tigger did not provide a timeline for his return to radio.

As of now, it remains unclear how long he will be away from the show.

Related: Big Tigger Steps Away From V-103 As Legal Battle Continues

As the criminal case involving Big Tigger and Alicia Brown continues, another legal battle has also entered the picture.

Francesca Amiker, Big Tigger’s V-103 co-host and a four-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Alicia Brown.

The lawsuit accuses Alicia of making false statements on social media suggesting Francesca had an inappropriate relationship with Big Tigger and was somehow connected to Alicia’s reported injuries.

According to the complaint, Francesca says she and Big Tigger have never had a relationship beyond being professional colleagues.

The lawsuit also claims Alicia blamed Francesca for the breakup of her marriage and posted statements that damaged Francesca’s professional reputation.

Francesca alleges that the social media posts led to canceled celebrity appearances, halted advertiser meetings, lost hosting opportunities, online harassment, threats, and the need to hire a crisis management firm.

The lawsuit seeks compensatory damages, punitive damages, attorney’s fees, and a jury trial.

The allegations in the lawsuit are Francesca Amiker’s claims. Alicia Brown has not yet filed a response in court, and the claims have not been proven.

Alicia Brown’s Previous Statement

Before her arrest in Georgia, Alicia released a statement on Instagram addressing the growing legal matters surrounding her and Big Tigger.

She said she had been advised by counsel to be mindful of public statements and would not comment on specific allegations or discuss details of the case while multiple matters remain pending.

According to Alicia, she and Big Tigger “communicated everything,” adding that “the receipts, including text messages, evidence, and the legal process will speak for themselves.”

Her statement also said her primary concern is the children in the family.

Alicia added that “no matter what,” it is never justified to place your hands on another person.

She ended the statement by thanking everyone for their prayers, encouragement, and support.

The legal matters involving Big Tigger and Alicia Brown have developed over several months.

In May, Sandy Springs police investigated an alleged domestic dispute at the couple’s home.

Alicia told investigators the argument escalated into a physical confrontation and alleged Big Tigger pushed her into an office door.

In June, Big Tigger was arrested on charges including aggravated battery, battery, and third-degree cruelty to children. He was later released on bond and denied the allegations.

A temporary protective order was later granted, requiring Big Tigger to stay away from Alicia, their home, and their children while the case moves forward.

Francesca Amiker then filed a federal defamation lawsuit against Alicia Brown over social media posts she claims were false and damaging.

In July, Big Tigger announced he was stepping away from V-103 to focus on his family and legal matters.

Now, Alicia Brown has been arrested in Georgia on Maryland kidnapping-related warrants connected to a missing child case dating back to 2019.

What Happens Next?

Georgia authorities say Alicia Brown is expected to be extradited to Maryland.

According to information from Baltimore County Police Crimes Against Children, officials have filed a case against Brown, but she has not yet been placed under arrest in Maryland.

That is expected to happen once she is extradited.

FOX 5 Atlanta has requested copies of Alicia’s warrants from Fulton County and officials in Maryland.

Baltimore County police reportedly said more information would be provided once the extradition process is complete.

The criminal case involving Big Tigger, the civil lawsuit involving Francesca Amiker and Alicia Brown, and the Maryland custody-related matter involving Alicia all remain ongoing.
