Ne-Yo is taking legal steps to establish paternity and parental rights for his two youngest children with Sade

The move comes less than a week after the R&B star took to the streets of social media with a spicy message for those who criticize and share their opinions about his personal life.

Ne-Yo wrote in his Instagram Story, “Feel how you wanna feel about me. Imma still sleep comfortably as hell tonight and every night following.”

The “Good Man” singer filed legal documents asking a court to establish parentage for his sons, Braiden, born in 2021, and Brixton, born in February.

Ne-Yo wants the court to grant him joint legal and physical custody of the boys.

He is also hoping to the boys will be eligible to inherit from him as if they were born in wedlock.

Speaking of wedlock, Ne-Yo was married to Crystal Renay Smith when Braiden was conceived.

Crystal also accused the “All Because Of You” singer of sleeping with paid prostitutes during their marriage.

She filed for divorce in August 2022.

Ne-Yo would ultimately have to pay his ex-wife, who he shares three children with, over $1.6 million in their divorce settlement.

It looks like Ne-Yo, who is now a father of 7, is taking preemptive measures with his two youngest sons in hopes of preventing any baby mama drama in the future.
