A Las Vegas-area home was searched on Monday night as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur murder investigation.

The beloved rapper and actor was shot on September 7, 1997, in Las Vegas after a Mike Tyson fight.

Tupac was sitting in the passenger seat of a black sedan, driven by Suge Knight, when a white Cadillac pulled up alongside them and opened fire.

The rapper died in the hospital six days later from his injuries at the age of 25.

Las Vegas police released a statement confirming a Las Vegas home was indeed searched.

LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation. We will have no further comment at this time.
