Showtime has announced Season 6 of its hit drama series, “The Chi,” will premiere on Friday, August 4.
The series, executive produced by Lena Waithe and Common, is sure to heat up the summer with a super-sized season offering 16 episodes for your viewing pleasure.
According to Showtime, the episodes will be split into two eight-episode installments similar to what Netflix has been doing with many of its popular series like “You” and “Stranger Things.“
A premiere date for the second half of the season will be announced at a later date.
