If you finished watching “Nemesis” on Netflix, you probably had one question after the finale: What happens next?
The good news is you won’t have to wait forever to find out. Netflix has officially renewed “Nemesis” for Season 2, bringing back the hit crime drama from creators and executive producers Courtney A. Kemp and Tani Marole.
What Is “Nemesis” About?
“Nemesis” follows expert criminal Coltrane Wilder (Y’lan Noel) and brilliant detective Isaiah Stiles (Matthew Law), two men locked in a relentless game of cat and mouse.
The series blends explosive action with family drama, revenge, and moral gray areas that keep you questioning who’s really winning.
When I reviewed Season 1, I said it was much deeper than the trailer suggested, and once it got going, I was completely locked in.
That’s exactly why this renewal is exciting.
Courtney A. Kemp Thanks “Nemesis” Viewers
Courtney A. Kemp credited viewers and their overwhelming social media support for helping secure a second season, saying the renewal happened because people showed up, watched the series, and kept the conversation going online.
Tani Marole also shared her appreciation, promising that Season 2 will answer many of the questions left by the finale while introducing even more twists along the way.

Where Season 1 Left Off
Spoiler Warning: The next section contains major spoilers from the Season 1 finale of “Nemesis.” If you haven’t finished the season yet, you may want to skip ahead to avoid finding out how it ends.
The finale ended with Coltrane cornered by Noah Stiles (Cedric Joe) during a violent shootout.
Before Noah could pull the trigger, a mystery gunman shot him in the leg.
Coltrane stopped to save Noah’s life before Isaiah Stiles rushed to his son’s side.
While the detective focused on Noah, Coltrane escaped by jumping a fence and disappearing after delivering one final message: “You were never gonna win.”
Season 2 is expected to pick up from that dramatic cliffhanger.
Cast
Season 1 stars Y’lan Noel, Matthew Law, Cedric Joe, Cleopatra Coleman, Tre Hale, Domenick Lombardozzi, Jonnie Park, Ariana Guerra, Gabrielle Dennis, Michael Potts, Sophina Brown, and Jeff Pierre.
Will You Be Watching?
A premiere date for Season 2 hasn’t been announced yet, but the chase between Coltrane and Stiles is far from over.
