The funeral service for Migos rapper Takeoff will be held at State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta on Friday, November 11.

The service is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be officiated by Jesse Curney III, pastor of New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn.

In a statement, obtained by TMZ, Pastor Curney said, “I was really sad to hear the news. Kirshnik has been a faithful member since he was ten years old. He and his family were active and avid supporters of the church and the community as a whole.”

Takeoff, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and rose to fame as one-third of the wildly popular Hip Hop group, Migos, alongside his uncle, Quavo, and cousin, Offset.

He was fatally shot around 2:30 a.m. on November 1 outside of 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston following a private party.

He was 28.

It’s unclear if the funeral service for Takeoff will be open to the public.

The State Farm Arena is home to the Atlanta Hawks and seats about 20,000.

My sincerest condolences and prayers to all who knew and loved Takeoff dearly.
