Da’Vinchi is officially entering his firefighter era!
After winning fans as Terry “Southwest T” Flenory on “BMF,” the actor has landed his next major TV role.
Da’Vinchi is joining NBC’s “Chicago Fire” as a series regular for Season 15, where he’ll play firefighter candidate Marcus Burke at Firehouse 51.
Here’s the fun part. This isn’t the only firefighter role on Da’Vinchi’s schedule.
He’s also set to play a firefighter in Tyler Perry’s upcoming Netflix series “Where There’s Smoke.”
Da’Vinchi Heads To Firehouse 51
Da’Vinchi’s character, Marcus Burke, is described as a firefighter candidate with a roguish charm, a dry sense of humor, and just enough defiance to keep things interesting.
He joins returning cast members Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, Miranda Rae Mayo, Christian Stolte, Joe Miñoso, Hanako Greensmith, Jocelyn Hudon, and Brandon Larracuente.

Season 14 ended with Firehouse 51 responding to a storage facility fire that erupted into a massive explosion while several members of the team were still inside, leaving fans wondering who survived.
The finale also hinted at major changes for several characters, including Herrmann considering retirement and Severide facing an important career decision before an emergency call cut the conversation short.
Behind the scenes, Season 15 marks a new chapter as Victor Terharn takes over as showrunner following Andrea Newman’s departure after leading the series for 14 seasons.
Da’Vinchi Is Booked And Busy
Da’Vinchi continues to build an impressive résumé. Along with starring in “BMF” and “All American,” he’ll also appear in Tyler Perry‘s upcoming Netflix series “Where There’s Smoke” and the film Why Did I Get Married Again?
Between “Chicago Fire” and “Where There’s Smoke,” it looks like firefighter gear is becoming part of his wardrobe.
“Chicago Fire” Season 15 premieres Tuesday, October 7, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
