Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is taking legal action against his ex-girlfriend, Daphne Joy Narvaez, after she publicly accused him of rape and abuse.
The dispute erupted following Narvaez’s claim in March that Jackson sexually assaulted her during their past relationship.
The lawsuit, filed by the rapper/actor/producer in Texas on May 6, stems from Daphne Joy’s Instagram post on March 28, where she alleged that 50 Cent raped her.
This accusation came amid reports of Curtis seeking sole custody of their 11-year-old son, Sire, following a lawsuit involving producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. and Sean “Diddy” Combs, which implicated Daphne Joy as a sex worker.
In her Instagram post, Daphne Joy criticized 50 Cent’s parenting and accused him of rape and physical abuse.
She also disputed claims made in Jones’ lawsuit, denying any involvement in sex work and calling the allegations false.

Curtis Jackson, however, has consistently denied these accusations, asserting that Daphne Joy Narvaez’s claims are aimed at damaging his reputation and business interests.
In his recent lawsuit, 50 Cent accuses Daphne Joy of subjecting him to public ridicule and hatred through her defamatory statements.

“Despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son’s relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a ‘rapist,’” Jain wrote in the statement on her client’s behalf.
“The motivation behind this appears to be Ms. Narvaez’s unfortunate entanglement and misguided loyalty to Mr. Combs, who we believe to be underwriting this attack and whom Mr. Jackson has been warning Ms. Narvaez and others about for many years.”
The legal battle underscores a contentious dispute involving serious allegations and personal attacks.
50 Cent’s lawsuit seeks to protect his reputation and parental rights, while Daphne Joy’s response to the accusations remains to be seen.
