Yung Joc Implies Cardi B’s Income Had Something To Do With The Migos Breaking Up

In a recent interview, Yung Joc implied that the money Cardi B is making as a solo artist may have caused Offset to leave the Migos.

Joc made a valid point about Cardi B, as a female solo hip-hop artist at the top of her game, bringing home a lot more money than a three-man hip-hop group (Migos) at the top of their game due to the 1/3 split.

Joc’s hypothesis is that, over time, Offset may have assessed his wife’s income in comparison to his and decided that he needs to go solo.

While Joc offers an interesting point-of-view from the outside looking in, the dissension between Offset and Pierre “P” Thomas appears to be more probable.

You may recall that Offset filed a lawsuit against Quality Control in regard to his solo career in August 2022.

According to the suit, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, claims he negotiated a solo deal with Quality Control back on January 15, 2021.

He noted that he “paid handsomely” for his artist’s rights, but now that he’s released a new solo project the label seems to be suffering from a case of selective amnesia and isn’t honoring the deal.

Cardi B also spoke out in support of her hubby writing, “Offset bought himself out his QC deal after they didn’t want to negotiate his contract.”

“I’m tired of people trying to make Offset look like the bad guy…ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” she added.

Yung Joc’s best bet is to focus on his marriage to Kendra Robinson and figure out how he’s going to explain those 2019 text messages to Meda.
