Quavo is set to take off in Hollywood

See what I just did right there?!

The 31-year-old Migos rapper will star alongside Billy Zane in the forthcoming action-thriller, Takeover

According to Variety, Quavo, whose real name is Quavious Marshall, will star in the film as Guy Miller.

Guy is a former criminal in Atlanta, Georgia, who’s in the process of trying to get his life back on track.

However, his redemption story is derailed when illicit opportunities drag him back into the street racing scene.

Bill Zane will play the role of Gamal Akopyan, the leader of an international heist ring, that uses street takeovers to get away with mass robberies.

When his latest heist goes awry, he must do whatever it takes to escape the Atlanta takeover scene alive – with nine figures worth of diamonds.

Street takeovers are where motorists arrive at a location similar to flash mobs.

They block streets with their cars and do stunts with their cars.

Atlanta has become a hot spot for street takeovers.

See Exhibit A below.

In addition to Takeover, Quavo is also cast in the forthcoming films, Wash Me in the River, Praise This, and The Waterboyz.

Congrats!
