Release Date & Where To Watch

What It’s About

Netflix’s documentary focuses on Lucy Letby, a British neonatal nurse found guilty of murdering seven babies in her care and attempting to murder seven others.

Letby’s crimes took place between June 2015 and June 2016, and the case quickly became a national obsession, sparking intense debate and public division across the U.K.

Why This Case Still Divides People

Even after her conviction, the case has remained controversial, with some questioning the medical and statistical evidence used to support the prosecution.

Lucy Letby was found guilty in August 2023 and sentenced to life imprisonment with a whole life order, meaning she will spend the rest of her life behind bars.

In July 2024, an attempted murder charge that previously resulted in no jury verdict was retried, and Letby was found guilty again.
