Prime Video just dropped the official trailer for Season 5, and let me tell you right now… it’s giving end-of-the-world energy.
The global hit series is officially heading toward its explosive final chapter, and from the looks of it, nobody is walking away unchanged.
The fifth and final season of “The Boys” premieres April 8, 2026, with the first two episodes dropping together.
After that, a new episode will roll out weekly until the series finale on May 20, 2026. The season will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
And based on this trailer, the final battle is going to be messy.
Homelander Is Finally Running The Show
Season 5 opens with one chilling reality: it’s Homelander’s world now.
The powerful Supe appears to have tightened his grip on society, leaving the rest of the crew scrambling to survive.
Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie find themselves locked inside a so-called “Freedom Camp.”
Meanwhile, Annie is trying to rally what’s left of the resistance as the Supe army grows stronger.
And then there’s Kimiko… who is mysteriously nowhere to be found.
So yes, things are looking bleak.
Butcher Returns With A Dangerous Plan
Just when it feels like the fight might be over, Billy Butcher reenters the picture with a plan that could change everything.
He’s armed with a virus designed to wipe every Supe off the planet.
Now the question becomes: is saving the world worth destroying an entire species?
Because if Butcher pulls the trigger on that plan, the consequences will be massive.
Not just for Homelander, but for everyone caught in the middle.
