Shamea Morton and her husband, Gerald Mwangi, are expecting baby no. 2 via surrogate.
The 40-year-old Atlanta radio personality, actress, and singer took to social media on Wednesday to announce the exciting news.
In a post on her Instagram page, Shamea Morton also detailed their journey of trying to conceive via IVF and their infertility challenges.
She wrote, “We’re having a baby via surrogacy! It’s been such a long journey! 7 rounds of IVF, failed transfers…etc.”
“I wanted to carry but God had other plans. ?? He always knows best! I’m so grateful ?. I’m having a baby!”

Shamea and Gerald Mwangi tied the knot in 2017 with a lavish ceremony in Kenya.
The couple later welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Shya Nyambura Mwangi, in November 2018.
