Loose lips sink ships! Crystal Renay revealed it was Ne-Yo’s interview on “The Breakfast Club” that led her to find out he was cheating in their marriage.
Crystal Renay and Tameka Raymond stopped by “The Breakfast Club” on Thursday (April 11) to promote their new reality series, “Bold and Bougie” on WEtv.
When asked about the demise of her marriage to the Grammy Award-winning R&B singer and songwriter, Crystal recalled his previous interview with the morning show where Ne-Yo said he would prefer to live in a “bubble of blissful ignorance” than to know his spouse was cheating.
Crystal Renay said Ne-Yo was the jealous type so she knew he would never go for that where she’s concerned – so she must’ve been the one who was in a “bubble of blissful ignorance.”
Her intuition prompted an internal investigation and she found all the evidence she needed in Ne-Yo’s phone.

Anywho, Crystal Renay ultimately filed for divorce in August 2022 after learning Ne-Yo had fathered a child with another woman [Sade Bagnerise] during their marriage skated with a $1.6M divorce settlement.
