Clay Gravesande of “Love Is Blind” Season 6 took to the streets of Instagram to blame editing and the “white network” (Netflix) for how he was portrayed on the show.
Clay & AD
Clay Gravesande is a 31-year-old entrepreneur who also works in enterprise sales.
He came into the pods because he didn’t want to be a playa no more – like Joe.
Amber Desiree Smith, who goes by the nickname, AD, is a 33-year-old real estate broker.
She’s originally from Boston but now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Clay and AD forged a connection in the pods and he ultimately proposed.
Throughout their expedited courtship towards the altar, Clay’s red flags were flagging.
But, AD chose to ignore them.
AD planned to tap into her inner Iyanla Vanzant and fix Clay’s life so that they could live happily ever after.
Unfortunately, Clay opted not to go through with the marriage leaving AD heartbroken, devastated, and embarrassed at the altar.

Clay Gravesande Speaks Out
Ahead of the “Love Is Blind” Season 6 Reunion Show, Clay Gravesande is speaking out and addressing the “negative conspiracy theories” about himself “knowing that they aren’t true.”
He posted a video of himself re-enacting the infamous Michael Jackson interview where the King of Pop refuted various rumors.
Clay also slid into the comment section to respond to his critics.
One commenter wrote, “Going on a show to get married while simultaneously not feeling ready to be married is wild.”
Clay responded:
Believing a white network over your own ppl is even wilder.
I was edited.
You think she followed me the whole way without me loving her?
And yal keep bringing up the concept of the show.
The concept is to see if love is blind. You make your decision at the end. That’s how it’s suppose to go.
The show producer even came out and said that.
Stop projecting s— in your life to mine.
But It’s all good you need more context and I will provide that once everything is done.
Another person wrote: “You knew the demons you were battling. To go on a show where the finish line is marriage while knowing you aren’t ready for it is nasty work.”
Clay Gravesande responded, “But, I didn’t. Plus this was a year ago. 😊”
Someone else asked, “Why did you make her go to the altar? That I don’t understand. That was just wrong to do.”
Clay responded, “Read the concept of the show.”

Clay may be getting chewed up in the streets of social media, but his beautiful mother, Maggie (who is the real star of LIB Season 6), is combating all of the noise with words of support and encouragement for her son.
She posted a photo of herself and Clay with the caption:
Please remember that the devil only deals with a person’s past. He doesn’t know your future!
You will Always be a Man of Principle.
You did the LIB experience unscripted and it gave you the opportunity to understand the importance of Love & Timing.
What would’ve happened, if you were given time away from the cameras?
It’s not easy dealing with all of the negative comments!
I know, you wanted things to work out. However; God had another Plan…
Pls. try to continue to work on your wholeness and leave the haters behind…
Family is Forever.
