‘The Last House’ Trailer: Greta Lee And Wagner Moura Face A Terrifying Trap

Official key art for Netflix's thriller "The Last House," starring Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, premiering August 7, 2026.

Frens, I don’t know what’s happening in “The Last House,” but after watching the newly released trailer, I need answers.

Netflix just dropped the first trailer for the upcoming thriller from director Louis Leterrier, and the premise alone had my attention.

Imagine waking up one day to discover that you and your family are trapped inside your own home with no explanation.

No doors open. No escape. No way out.

That’s the nightmare at the center of “The Last House.”

The film stars Greta Lee and Wagner Moura as parents who suddenly find themselves sealed inside their home with their children.

As their resources begin to dwindle, the family must work together to survive while trying to uncover the mysterious force keeping them trapped.

I’m not going to lie, this trailer hooked me almost immediately.

The tension builds fast, and while the trailer doesn’t reveal exactly what’s happening outside the house, it reveals just enough to make me want answers.

If Netflix was trying to get people talking with “The Last House” trailer, mission accomplished.
