What To Know

  • Christian Keyes went live on TikTok to air out frustrations about “All The Queen’s Men.”
  • He claims Tyler Perry took creative control of the series and changed its tone.
  • Keyes says his “Created By” credit was removed in Season 2 and only restored after union involvement.
  • He confirms he will not partner with BET+ on any prequels or spin-offs and is talking to other platforms.
  • The timing has raised eyebrows given Keyes’ past allegations and current conversations around accountability.

Christian Keyes is back on social media, and this time he had plenty to say.

During a recent TikTok Live, the creator and star of “All The Queen’s Men” didn’t hold back as he shared his ongoing disappointment with how the series has been handled, who he believes took over creatively, and why he is officially done playing nice.

According to Keyes, the show he spent 15 years developing no longer feels like his own.

He claimed that once Tyler Perry became more involved, the series took a turn that made it feel, in his words, “weird.”

And season two and season three is when all the queens men got weird and dudes started getting r*ped with d**dos and all that weird s**t.

I don’t nobody wanna see that s**t. Put that on your show.

That’s why I’m glad my show ain’t there no more.

Put that on Oval or Bruh or Sistas or whatever.

Put that bulls**t on your show.

Watching him speak, it was clear this was not a spur of the moment rant.

This was frustration that had been simmering for years.

Christian Keyes Says The Show Drifted From His Original Vision

Christian Keyes explained that “All The Queen’s Men” was deeply personal to him.

He described the project as something God entrusted him with because he would protect it.

That is why discovering major decisions online instead of directly from the network felt like a slap in the face.

Back in June 2025, Christian held what many dubbed a “social media press conference,” calling out BET+ for poor communication.

One of the most shocking revelations was his claim that his “Created By” credit was removed in Season 2 and only reinstated after union intervention.

“I created this 15 years ago,” he said at the time. “God gave it to me ’cause He knew I was gonna protect it—and I will.”

Eva Marcille as Madam in BET+ drama "All The Queen’s Men"

No Prequels, No Spin-Offs, And No More BET+

Here is where things get spicy.

Christian Keyes confirmed he will not partner with BET+ on any future expansions of the “All The Queen’s Men” universe.

No prequels. No spin-offs. No side quests.

Instead, he says he is in talks with other streaming platforms and made it clear that the next chapter will happen on his terms.

“It’s not up to the studio. It’s not up to the network. It’s up to me, thankfully,” he said.

For fans of the series starring Eva Marcille, this raises real questions about what the future looks like and whether the show can continue in its current form.

A Complicated Conversation And A Lot Of Side-Eye

Now, let me be honest.

While I understand creative frustration, the timing of this latest outburst is… interesting.

Christian Keyes previously set social media on fire in December 2023 when he alleged that a powerful man in Hollywood sexually harassed him for years, only to later go silent on the matter.

I am people. I still have questions.

Add to that the fact that his criticism of Tyler Perry comes while Perry has two active misconduct lawsuits, and the situation becomes even more layered.

It is hard to separate valid creative grievances from the broader context surrounding all parties involved.

I have never had an interest in watching “All The Queen’s Men,” but for those of you who do watch, I have to ask.

Has the series gone downhill, or do you think this is simply a case of creative control gone left?

  1. I watch the show and think it’s both. More creative control gone left though. You can tell there was a shift in writing and the depth of the characters. It’s sad to know the background of what happened. Hopefully he finds a new platform and the show continues to grow.
