Rapper C-Murder took to social media to question why someone would publicly bash him while he’s incarcerated and fighting for his life.

Corey Miller, 52, who rose to fame as a rapper on his brother, Master P’s No Limit Records imprint, is currently serving a life sentence for the 2002 murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas

C-Murder has always maintained his innocence.

But, his most recent social media query may have been prompted by his ex-girlfriend Monica Brown, who recently implored fans to stop asking her about C-Murder.

The “Shoulda Known Better” singer moved on from her “Love After Lockup” ambitions and is now dating Chris Brown’s manager, Anthony Wilson.

Monica told her fans that while trying to rekindle her relationship with the incarcerated rapper she “got her heartbroken (again),” but added that she “learned yet another valuable lesson!”

She also noted, “I feel great that through it he has representation to one day be free! Let’s move forward!

C-Murder seemingly responded to Monica’s social media update by writing:

I don’t know why someone feels the need to publicly bash a person that’s fighting for their life??

I am a black male fighting and hoping for freedom one day. Wanna speak on something??  Let’s talk about freeing us Louisiana inmates still held illegally and unconstitutionally by a racist Jim Crow law through a non-retroactive 10/2 non-unanimous jury.  Facts.

I am asking all celebrities against RACISM to visit this website: www.louisianabusinessesagainstracistlaws.com and retweet to help relieve modern day slavery and to sign our petition for freedom. Thanks.

I wish C-Murder the very best as he continues to fight for his freedom.
