Hailed as “the best rap group ever,” Wu-Tang Clan, founded by Robert “RZA” Diggs, formed in Staten Island, New York, in 1992.

Members of the group included RZA, Gary “GZA” Grice, Clifford “Method Man” Smith, Corey “Raekwon” Woods, Dennis “Ghostface Killah” Coles, Jason “Inspectah Deck” Hunter, Lamont “U-God” Hawkins, Jamel “Masta Killa” Irief, and the late Russell “Ol’ Dirty Bastard” Jones.

The Wu-Tang Clan released their timeless debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), on November 9, 1993, and went on to sell over 40 million records as a collective.

RZA said the Las Vegas residency has been in the works for five years and is meant to elevate the genre.

Wu-Tang Clan joins a growing list of acts who have set their sights on Las Vegas including New Edition and Jodeci
