I am elated to report Brett Favre’s defamation lawsuit against Shannon Sharpe has been dismissed.

You may recall that Favre filed a defamation suit against Shannon, Pat McAfee, and Shad White claiming all three men defamed him while talking about this alleged role in the welfare funds scandal in Mississippi.

Brett Favre claims Shannon Sharpe made defamatory comments on FS1’s “Undisputed” by calling him a “sorry mofo to steal from the lowest of the low.”

On Monday, Shannon took to his Instagram page to share the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi dismissed the defamation suit

The suit was dismissed after the court found the statements made by Shannon were protected by the 1st amendment to the Constitution.

Shannon also thanked his legal team for their handling of the case.

Jemele Hill commented on Unc’s post writing, “You should have never been sued in the first place.”

I totally agree!
