Anita Baker has announced she is dropping Babyface from her “Songstress Tour.”
The legendary diva says she made the decision in the interest of her personal safety after enduring cyberbullying, verbal abuse, and threats of violence from his fanbase.
Ms. Baker tweeted:

I will continue, The Songstress Tour, alone.
Appropriate refunds will be made.

Anita Baker also listed the remaining dates of her tour that she will be embarking on alone.

All of the drama stems from Anita’s New Jersey show where Babyface said he was told not to perform.
The legendary singer, songwriter, and producer took to his Instagram page to issue an apology to fans who were anxiously awaiting his performance at the Prudential Center on May 10.
As a result of that show, bad press and chatter about Anita’s reputation in the music industry took a front seat to her tour.
Honestly, Anita’s decision to remove Babyface from her tour doesn’t come as a surprise, considering she spent most of Monday dropping spicy subliminal tweets about him while fending off internet trolls.
