What To Know Before You Hit Play
- Netflix is coming in strong with reality TV, true crime, and a chilling new horror story
- Disney+ is tapping into pure nostalgia while also bringing superhero heat
- Prime Video is mixing comedy, action, and faith-based drama
- This weekend’s horror lineup is not for the faint of heart
Netflix Picks You Shouldn’t Miss

If you’re looking for variety, Netflix understood the assignment.
“Inside” Season 3 throws influencers into chaos with a massive prize on the line, and yes, the drama is already brewing.
If you want something a little more grounded but still compelling, “Homicide: New York” Season 3 dives into real-life cases that will have you glued to the screen.
And if you’re in the mood for something unsettling, “Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen” is already giving eerie, slow-burn horror energy that creeps up on you.
For laughs with heart, Jeff Ross delivers something a little different in “Jeff Ross: Take A Banana For The Ride.”
Hulu Is Bringing The Drama And The Chaos

“Sentimental Value” is one of those layered family dramas where emotions run deep and nothing is simple.
On the flip side, “Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice” is pure chaos in the best way, blending action, comedy, and a time machine into one wild night.
Prime Video Keeps It Versatile

If you need a good laugh, Kountry Wayne’s “Nostalgia” brings that old-school comedy feel with real-life truths mixed in.
“Bait” offers a more chaotic, character-driven story about chasing success at all costs.
And if you want action with a twist, “Pretty Lethal” takes ballerinas and turns them into full-on survival warriors.
Meanwhile, “House Of David” Season 2 continues its epic storytelling with higher stakes and deeper emotional layers.
Disney+ Is Giving Nostalgia And Superheroes

If you grew up on it, the “Hannah Montana: 20th Anniversary Special” is about to have you singing every word like no time has passed.
Then there’s “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2, where the stakes in New York City are higher than ever.
More Weekend Picks Across Streaming

Paramount+ brings suspense with “Primate,” where a once-trusted animal becomes a deadly threat.
Apple TV’s “For All Mankind” Season 5 continues its ambitious space drama with growing tension on Mars.
Peacock is leaning all the way into horror with “Bambi: The Reckoning,” and let me just say… this is not the Bambi you remember.
Worth Leaving The House For

If you’re heading to theaters, “They Will Kill You” is serving horror, action, and dark humor all in one intense ride.

Lock In With Ice Cream Convos:

I went to a “secret” screening of “They Will Kill You” and let me tell you, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s not for the squeamish (A LOT OF BLOOD). IMHO: It was good.
I can’t wait to see it!
