In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Terrell opened up about how deeply he was moved by the characters, the storytelling, and working alongside Tyler Perry.
He described Tyler Perry as a visionary who has not only changed the game but created space for Black creators to truly thrive.
And honestly, that energy? You can feel it in the music.
Terrell also shared that playing his character pushed him creatively in a way that led him to write this song.
It’s giving passion. It’s giving purpose. And I love that for him.
