We are two episodes into the new Bravo reality series, “SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B,” and the streets of Twitter are buzzing about it.
The series gives viewers a VIP look at best-selling R&B groups SWV and Xscape in a six-part limited series that pulls back the curtain on the singers’ personal and professional lives as they prepare to hit the stage together.
To say the show came in hot would be an understatement and the fans were here to collect all of the tea and crumpets.
Fresh out of the gate, we have the rift between LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott from an incident that happened after a performance in Las Vegas.
When Mama Scott attempted to set up a (one-sided) intervention at her house, the shizznit hit the fan when Tamika revealed LaTocha (and her husband Rocky) allegedly stole $30,000 of her royalty checks.
Unfortunately, the fallout between the sisters is impacting the rest of the group and impeding their efforts to plan a tour with SWV.
But, somehow…in an uncanny turn of events, LaTocha’s energy was shifted towards Kandi Burruss and how the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star never liked her.
Then, there’s that secret meeting LaTocha had with Motown to secure a solo record deal.
It didn’t take long for viewers of the show to assess and determine LaTocha Scott may be the issue that won’t allow XSCAPE to escape the drama.
