“The Chi” final season is expanding its ensemble with a new group of recurring guest stars as the series prepares for its eighth and final chapter.
Production began in January, setting the stage for what is being described as the show’s most intense and emotionally charged season yet.

Paramount+ confirmed several new additions to the cast:
- Darryl Dunning II as Rafi, one of Nuck’s enforcers
- Biko Eisen-Martin as Smitty, a reformed gangster
- Akilah A. Walker as Amaya, Smitty’s girlfriend
- Laila Odom as Jordan, a nurse with ties to the streets
- Liza Jessie Peterson as Patience, an attorney and activist
- Anthony B. Jenkins as Devante, Emmett and Shay’s son
These new characters are expected to deepen existing storylines and introduce new conflicts as the series heads toward its conclusion.

The series stars Jacob Latimore, Birgundi Baker, Luke James, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Hannaha Hall, and Jason Weaver.
