Omarion put an ice box where his condoms used to be.
The 39-year-old R&B singer and actor recently opened up about his celibacy journey as a guest on the “Know Thyself Podcast.”
Omarion shared, “When I decided to become celibate, it was because I was searching for something more.”
He continued, “There’s more to life than that. It allowed me to kind of step out of this world, being a sex symbol.”
Reflecting on his journey, he added, “In hindsight, it was preparing me for a greater contribution to music.”
Elaborating further, Omarion said, “I just found myself in that position of wanting to understand my energy, give myself time to grow.”
“I knew that if I could control two areas of my life—food and the urge for sex—then nothing could stop me.”
