Three months after announcing he was going on a “celibacy journey,” Nick Cannon announced he was expecting his eighth child.
On Monday (January 31), Nick announced he was expecting a baby boy with Bre Tiesi.

The news of Cannon No. 8 left folks scratching their heads for a number of reasons.
What happened to his celibacy journey?!
Well, Nick Cannon set the record straight on that by sharing he made the decision to be celibate after learning about Bre’s pregnancy because he felt like he was “out of control.”
My therapist was one of the people who said I should probably be celibate and the reason why is because I had shared that news about Bre being pregnant.
That was the reason why I started my celibacy journey back then.
So for anyone who’s thinking, ‘Oh he wasn’t celibate,’ I was!
I felt like I was out of control and honestly, celibacy did help me through the journey of getting one with myself and being able to deal with this.
Sadly, Nick Cannon admitted his celibacy journey was short-lived and he didn’t make it to the New Year as planned.
