Rapper NLE Choppa is safe and sound.
On Friday night, his mother, Angeleta Potts, took to social media and asked for the public’s prayers and help contacting her son after she hadn’t heard from him in hours.

NLE Choppa, whose real name is Bryson Lashun Potts, is 20 years old.
Because he is an adult, many fans felt like the rapper’s mother was simply overreacting.

But, Angeleta expressed concern about her son’s intentions of moving back to their old neighborhood to work on a mixtape.
In a now-deleted post, Angeleta wrote:
Y’all help me pray over my child. He plans on moving back to Cottonwood where we worked hard to get out of just for a mixtape SMH!
I ain’t talked to this boy in hours and he usually doesn’t do this.
One thing I know about my son is that he doesn’t go ghost for any reason.
Whatever your working on I pray GOD is guiding you. If y’all hear from him PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP!
To the fans he wants to please thanks a lot 🤦♀️🙏🏽😢
He Needed A Minute
Angeleta Potts returned to social media overnight and shared that her son was okay, but he just “needed a minute” and “didn’t communicate it to his loved ones.”
She added that is was never her intnetion to alarm people or make them think NLE Choppa was missing.
Momma Choppa admitted “the frustrations of being the mother of a celebrity can be a bit much and overwhelming at times.”
