The official trailer has arrived for “Mike Epps: Indiana Mike,” the third hour-long Netflix comedy special from the actor and comedian.
The special, which is slated to premiere on March 29, was filmed at the Walker Theatre in Mike’s hometown of Indianapolis back in November 2021.
Mike Epps was extremely proud when he took to social media writing:
This past weekend in my hometown of #Indianapolis, I had the privilege to tape my next @netflix comedy special.
What I didn’t know my partner @ampharris had a few surprises for me.
Congressman @andrecarson who presented me with the Congressional Record for my work in the community.
Also, Mayor Joe Hogsett, who proclaimed Nov 20th as Mike Epps Day in Indianapolis. Plus shared a proclamation recognizing me for my career and continued support of the city.
President of the Madam Walker Theater, Kristian Little Stricklen, and her staff presented me with the first-ever Madam Walker Legacy Center “Walk of Fame” award.
Last but not least, thank you to all of the volunteers. Thank you to all that purchased tickets in record time. Thank you to the entire city of Indianapolis for all of the support.
This was really a big deal to me because the City of #Indianapolis helped me to become who I am.
To film a national movie 15min from my neighborhood, at the historical Madam CJ Walker Theater was a dream come true! We did Indy❤️❤️❤️
