Method Man took to social media and said he is “never coming back” to perform at Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert.
The legendary rapper and Redman hit the stage over the weekend to perform and it appears the dynamic duo of Hip Hop didn’t move the crowd.
When Hot 97 posted a clip of their performance on Instagram, Method Man expeditiously slid into the comments and wrote:
Not our crowd at all.. thanks again, New York and the whole tri-state (that showed up to the event) plus Pete and Ebro I got love for you guys, but never again.. at this point the generation gap is just too wide for me.. #nevercomingback
See the original post, a video clip of Meth and Red getting busy on stage, and Method Man’s farewell below.
Other Hot 97 Summer Jam performers included Doja Cat, Sexyy Red, Busta Rhymes, and others
Do you think the generation gap is too wide for Method Man and Redman for a Hot 97 audience?
