Megan Thee Stallion is having a blast while in Japan and she isn’t afraid to try new things including Habushu (also known as Habu Sake or Snake Wine).
The drink is made by soaking a fang-bearing pit viper from the Ryukyu Islands in whiskey for several months. This process is said to neutralize the venom, rendering it as harmless as a rubber snake.
In traditional Chinese medicine, Snake Wine is believed to cure everything from hair loss to rheumatism.
Megan Thee Stallion recently shared a video on TikTok of her trying some Snake Wine.
I’m so fearful of snakes that I almost passed out from watching her consume the snake juice.

Since returning to music after the Tory Lanez case, Megan Thee Stallion appears to have some new connection to serpents.
In November 2023, when she released her single, “Cobra,” Megan shared:
Cobras exemplify courage and self-reliance.
They stand tall and fierce in the face of challenges, teaching one to tap into their inner strength and rely on oneself to conquer their threats.
Emulating the cobra helps one be more confident in the person they are within.
Then, Megan Thee Stallion dropped her fiery single, “Hiss,” in January.
Now, sis is drinking Cobra Capri Suns!
Have you ever…or would you be willing to try Snake Wine?
