Martell Holt is trending in the streets of Twitter after he attended Shereé Whitfield‘s glamma shindig to unveil her grandbaby, Mecca Whitfield.
The “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star showed up looking dapper in his color-coordinated suite for the event and even hopped in a few family photos.
Unfortunately, for Martell, the streets of social media aren’t letting up on the fact that he didn’t pay for Shereé’s birthday dinner.
After Dr. Heavenly of “Married To Medicine” publicly criticized Martell Holt for not paying for Shereé’s birthday dinner, he offered this response:
I didn’t invite anyone. I wasn’t the host. I was invited like everyone else. I brought a gift.
Those were her friends girls and some had their husbands and boyfriends.
Heavenly, you said your husband would’ve paid.
When I was married I paid for dinners and when I host dinners now I pay. It’s not if I can pay it, it’s the principle.
I paid for my dinner and @shereewhitfield dinner. I said, “Y’all can cash app me.” 🤷🏾♂️🤣
I’ve come to realize that extending a good gesture doesn’t mean ish, because the main person @sanyarichiross who spoke about this situation I just paid for her and her husband’s dinner when we casually met up a couple weeks prior to.
So, not doing things people expect of you or want you to do will bring out their true character. ✌🏾

To be fair, Martell Holt and Shereé Whitfield’s “relationship” has been under scrutiny since day one because there are so many peculiar aspects to it.

I agree with Martell. It didn’t throw the party.
