LaTocha Scott recently appeared on “Good Day DC” to promote her forthcoming gospel album, My Conversation with God.
But, during her conversations with anchor Marissa Mitchell, LaTocha briefly talked about the drama with her sister Tamika Scott and the allegations that she and her husband, Rocky Bivens, stole $30,000 of her royalty checks.
When asked if she stole the money, LaTocha skated past the question and noted that she doesn’t like to discuss family business publicly (despite airing everything for the reality TV cameras).
No, well…my thing is this when it comes down to family I like to keep things…deal with it behind closed doors.
So, that’s what we do.
My sister and I have been through a lot. I’ll say that. When my father left my sisters had issues with things in life.
And so we’ve always tried to keep that to the side. Whenever she’s confronted with anything it’s always this and that and it has nothing to do with anything.
$30,000 isn’t “nothing,” but I digress.
LaTocha Scott went on to say that she and Tamika will make things right “with God’s help.”
My sister just lashes out. I love her and I wouldn’t want anybody else to talk about it.
But, we’re going to make sure that we fix this with God’s help for sure.
