Apple TV just dropped the first-look images for its forthcoming thriller “Last Seen,” and frens… this series already feels like an emotional rollercoaster wrapped inside a mystery that’s going to keep us stressed every single week.
The new six-episode Australian thriller stars Patrick Brammall as a father whose life was destroyed after his young daughter vanished without a trace more than a decade ago.
Formerly titled “The Dispatcher,” “Last Seen” is adapted by acclaimed writer and executive producer Kris Mrksa from Ryan David Jahn’s award-winning novel of the same name.

The series premieres globally on Wednesday, September 9, with two episodes at launch, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through October 7 on Apple TV.
What Is “Last Seen” About?
Patrick Brammall stars as police detective Ian Ridley, whose life fell apart 11 years earlier when his daughter Maggie mysteriously disappeared.
Unable to let go of the possibility that she may still be alive, Ian now works as a police dispatcher while carrying the emotional weight of losing his child and watching his family unravel.

But when Ian receives a distress call from a teenage girl he is convinced is Maggie, everything changes.
Desperate for answers, he becomes determined to find her and reunite his broken family, no matter the personal cost.
And honestly? That premise alone sounds like the kind of psychological thriller that’s going to have me yelling at my television while simultaneously refusing to stop watching.

The Series Features An Impressive Cast
Alongside Patrick Brammall, the series also stars Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Jessica Wren, Zahra Newman, and newcomer Chloe Jean Lourdes.
The series is directed and executive produced by Emmy Award-nominated filmmaker Christian Schwochow, whose credits include “The Crown,” “Bad Banks,” and “Munich: The Edge of War.”
Apple TV continues building a strong slate of prestige thrillers with series like “Hijack,” “Slow Horses,” and “Down Cemetery Road,” and “Last Seen” already looks like another intense addition to that lineup.

If you’re into emotional mystery dramas, missing-person thrillers, and stories that slowly unravel layer by layer, this one definitely deserves a spot on your watchlist.
Frens, will you be watching “Last Seen” when it premieres on September 9?
