“Unconditional” (May 8)
This one starts off like a normal vacation and then goes completely left.
A young woman, Gali, is arrested for drug smuggling in Moscow, and her mother, Orna, refuses to believe the charges.
What begins as a fight to clear her daughter’s name turns into something much deeper, pulling her into a dangerous world of crime and corruption.
I’m not even going to lie, this already sounds stressful in the best way.
“Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” (May 20)
This feels like one of those shows where everything keeps getting worse, and you can’t stop watching.
Paula, a newly divorced mom, thinks she witnessed a crime while dealing with a custody battle and trying to figure herself out.
Instead of stepping back, she starts investigating, and it leads her into blackmail, murder, and something much bigger than she expected.
Yeah, this one might spiral.
“Propeller: One-Way Night Coach” (May 29)
If you’re not in the mood for stress, this might be your reset.
It follows a young aviation enthusiast, Jeff, and his mother as they take a cross-country trip to Hollywood that turns into more than they planned.
Along the way, they encounter unexpected stops, memorable passengers, and moments that shape his future.
This feels like one of those easy watches you can just settle into.
“Star City” (May 29)
This is the one that really caught my attention.
“Star City” takes the space race story and flips it, showing what was happening behind the scenes from the Soviet side.
You’re following cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence officers as they push to be the first to reach the moon, all while dealing with the pressure that comes with it.
I like when a story gives us a different angle like this.
Is Apple TV Worth Watching Right Now?
Honestly, yes.
It’s not overloaded this month, but there’s enough here to keep you from scrolling aimlessly.
And sometimes that’s better than having too many options and not watching anything at all.
