Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are married!

According to multiple sources, the high-profile couple, who announced their engagement in April 2022, tied the knot in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Court records confirm Ben and Jen obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, on Saturday, July 16.

A source gave People magazine the scoop on the nuptials:

It was super, super small. [Jennifer’s] mom and kids were there. They just wanted to be married so they got married.

Representatives for the alleged newlyweds did not respond to requests for comments.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rekindled their romance after dating in 2002 and splitting two years later.

18 years later, both of them have already experienced marriage and they’ve welcomed children.

JLo has 14-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Ben shares three children: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

Jennifer said, “We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.”

It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other,” she said.

In her JLo newsletter, she detailed how Ben proposed to her while she was taking a bath.

Did you ever imagine your biggest dream come true? Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed,” she wrote.

I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, ‘is that a yes?’ I said YES of course that’s a YES.

I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole,” she gushed.

It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined…just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other.

Jennifer Lopez concluded the letter by saying she and Ben Affleck are “Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.”

On Sunday afternoon, the new bride took to social media to confirm her nuptials by showing off her wedding ring and encouraging people to visit her website to get the deets.

In a letter posted on OnTheJLo.com Jen wrote:

We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.

Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.

Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday – all of us wanted the same thing – for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.

We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight. They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in the pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed).

So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.

They even had Bluetooth for a (short) march down the aisle.

But in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last.

When love is real, the only thing that matter in marriage is one another and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving and good to one another.

We had that. And so much more. Best night of our lives.

Thank you to the Little White Wedding chapel for letting us use the break room to change while Ben changed in the men’s room.

They were right when they said, “all you need is love.”

We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to.

Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive-through in Las Vegas at twelve-thirty in the morning in the tunnel of love drive-through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with.

Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for.

With love,

Mrs. Jennifer Lynn

Mrs. Affleck also shared a few candid photos from her wedding day and she and Ben Affleck couldn’t have been happier.

Congratulations to Jennifer Lopez Affleck and Ben Affleck!
