Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has dropped the first trailer for “The Cat In The Hat,” and this new animated adventure looks like it’s taking the beloved Dr. Seuss character in a fresh direction. Voiced by Bill Hader, the Cat is still bringing plenty of chaos, but this time the stakes are a lot higher.
The film arrives in theaters on November 6, 2026, and the trailer offers a first look at the Cat’s biggest challenge yet.

In this new adventure, the Cat works for the Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, where his job is to help bring joy and creativity to kids.
His latest assignment is helping siblings Gabby and Sebastian adjust after moving to a new town. Sounds simple enough, right?
Well, this is the Cat in the Hat we’re talking about.
What starts as a mission to help two kids quickly turns into a larger-than-life adventure filled with unexpected twists, magical moments, and the kind of trouble only the Cat can create.
To make matters even worse, if he can’t get the job done, he could lose the magical hat that gives him his powers.
