The comedian and actor married lifestyle content creator Brianna Johnson on Saturday, March 7, during an ultra-elegant black-and-white ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston.

About 170 guests gathered in Houston to celebrate the couple, and the guest list read like a reunion of comedy and Hollywood heavy hitters.
Gary Owen’s Think Like a Man and Think Like a Man Too co-stars Terrence J, Romany Malco, Jerry Ferrara, Michael Ealy, and producer Will Packer served as his groomsmen.
Other notable guests included Russell Peters, Luenell, Rocsi Diaz, Bun B, Nate Jackson, and NFL star Andre Johnson.
Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson officiated the ceremony.
Gary Owen walked down the aisle to “The Matrimony” by Wale and Usher wearing a custom tuxedo by Adam Ross Bespoke & Custom Clothiers.
His groomsmen wore matching designs, while the couple’s twin sons, Royal and Rome, served as “ring security.”
The ceremony leaned into dramatic elegance with candlelight and all-black draping.
Brianna Johnson made her entrance to a violin performance of Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” wearing a strapless Galia Lahav mermaid gown that shimmered under the soft glow of candlelight.
One of the most touching moments came when Brianna Johnson’s 92-year-old grandmother served as the “flower gram,” a role that meant the world to the bride.
The Reception Was Pure Celebration
Once Gary Owen and Brianna Johnson were pronounced husband and wife, the energy shifted into full celebration mode.
The couple exited the ceremony to a violin rendition of Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” before heading into a lively reception filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Their first dance blended John Legend’s “All of Me” with Usher’s “Yeah!” before their children joined them on the dance floor, symbolizing the blending of their families.

Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner featuring beef tenderloin, marinated snapper, or roasted chicken.
Dessert included slices of a stunning five-tier wedding cake before late-night Trill Burgers from Bun B’s popular burger brand kept the celebration going.
A Love Story Years In The Making
Gary Owen and Brianna Johnson first connected after she attended one of his comedy shows and had no idea who he was at the time.
Gary Owen proposed in October 2022 at The Post Oak Hotel in Houston, one of the couple’s favorite staycation spots.
The couple welcomed their twin sons in July 2023.
