Jaleel White shared a beautiful post and some advice for new fathers as he celebrated his daughter’s sixth-grade graduation.

Samaya White is the spitting image of her daddy and it’s been such a pleasure watching her grow over the years (because her daddy documents all of their precious moments).

In a post on his Instagram page, Jaleel wrote:

I always tell other new fathers to drive your child to school in the mornings every chance you get ???? Something about that morning drive marks time like nothing else.

From the first day of school to the last day of school, every year, since the first grade, I started snapping pics ???????? I knew this day would come #sixthgradegraduation ????

Back before CoVID she wanted no one else behind the wheel but me and today marked our final drive. As soon as she crossed that leg in the back seat of my car, I knew something had changed for good. She was officially a young lady in that moment ???? She still lets me tuck her in bed at night but I know that too will come to an end soon ????

Middle school has arrived. My baby will always be my baby but as you can see, she’s not a baby anymore. Leap into your future, Samaya, be mindful and fearless. Thank you for choosing me to be your father ✨

Without a doubt Jaleel White’s greatest role is being a father.

Congratulations Samaya!
