Irv Gotti is facing serious allegations of sexual assault in a new lawsuit filed in Miami.
Gotti, whose real name is Irving Domingo Lorenzo, was sued by the Jane Doe accuser on July 11.
The lawsuit details multiple instances of alleged sexual abuse starting in 2020 after the woman met Ira through a mutual friend at a poker tournament.
The complaint states that the woman agreed to join Irv Gotti on a vacation in Saint Martin, where the alleged abuse began.
“After flying her to Saint Martin, Gotti coerced plaintiff into having sex with him. Gotti specifically threatened plaintiff that he would send her home if she did not comply with his demands. Accordingly, and due to his power and influence in the music world, she complied,” the lawsuit claims.
This led to what the woman describes as an “abusive” two-year relationship.
“During this abusive relationship, Gotti demanded that plaintiff perform unwanted sexual acts and often berated and scolded her,” the complaint continues.
Specific incidents of alleged abuse include Irv Gotti forcing the woman to perform oral sex in an elevator at a Four Seasons hotel in Miami in January 2022 and in an Uber during a trip to Atlanta later that year.
The woman claims she has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm from the relationship, leading to her being committed to a psychiatric ward.
Additionally, she alleges Irv has been “slandering her to his vast social network in and around Los Angeles.”
The Jane Doe is seeking compensatory damages to be determined at trial.
Irv Gotti, 54, is a prominent figure in the hip-hop industry, having worked with stars like Ashanti, Ja Rule, DMX, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Fat Joe.
His career, however, has not been without controversy.
In 2005, Gotti and his brother were acquitted in a high-profile money laundering case where he was accused of using his Murder Inc. record label to launder $1 million in drug proceeds for convicted gang leader Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff.
Gotti, who faced up to 20 years in prison if convicted, maintained that he was unfairly targeted due to his friendship with McGriff.
The latest allegations add a new chapter to Gotti’s tumultuous career, casting a shadow over his contributions to the music industry.
50 Cent didn’t miss the opportunity to chime in on the sexual assault allegations against Irv Gotti.
The rapper-turned-entertainment mogul took to Instagram writing:
