Gabrielle Union is trending in the streets of Twitter as people react to her sharing why she felt “entitled” to cheat in her first marriage to Chris Howard.

The actress and former NFL baller got married in 2001 and ended their union in 2006.

During her appearance on Monday’s episode of Dax Shepard and Monica Padman’s “Armchair Expert” podcast, Gabrielle called her romance with Chris “stupid” and noted that it “should have never gotten out of the dating phase” because they had “not one thing in common, no morals, no values, no scruples.”

Gabrielle Union is trending after sharing why she felt “entitled” to cheat during her five-year marriage.

“I was paying all the bills, I was working my ass off and I felt like that’s what comes with it,” she said.

But, to be clear she also noted that Chris was cheating as well.

“Neither one of us felt like our marriage should get in the way of our dating,” she joked.

Folks have taken to Twitter to share their reactions to Gabrielle’s latest hot take.

One person tweeted, “What’s wildest (to me) about that Gabrielle Union quote being floated around today is that she said they BOTH cheated and the relationship was dysfunctional from the beginning. But that’s not a quote you can create conflict from so go with the other, I guess.”

Someone else tweeted, “From the outside looking in, Gabrielle Union just seems like a terrible woman tbh lmao.”

Gabrielle Union is now happily married to former NBA baller Dwyane Wade.

They welcomed their daughter, Kaavia, via surrogate in 2018.

She is also the stepmother of Wade’s three other children — Zaire, 20, Zaya, 15, and Xavier, 9 – from former relationships.

But, Gabrielle doesn’t label herself as a stepmother. She said that she is a “consistent … additional adult in their lives.”

“Don’t try to replace the other parent. That is not your job.”
