The police body cam video of DaniLeigh’s DUI hit-and-run arrest from May 2023 has been released online.

In the video, DaniLeigh attempts to use her celebrity status as a “get out of jail free” card by telling the Miami police that she’s an artist and an R&B singer.

The police were unimpressed, especially considering she had just hit a teenager who was riding a moped, dragging him for a distance, which lacerated his liver and fractured his spine.

In an unexpected turn of events, Quavo, formerly of the Migos, makes a guest appearance in the body cam footage.

The police tell him and another man to back up when they attempt to inquire about DaniLeigh’s arrest.

During her arrest, the singer appears to laugh and slur her words as she denies being drunk and hitting anyone with her car.

The video also shows police pulling an empty bottle of liquor from her vehicle.

Officers reported that she blew a 0.145 and 0.148 on the Breathalyzer, nearly double the legal limit.

DaniLeigh was booked on three felony charges: driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and DUI damage to property.

In February, she received a slap on the wrist after pleading no contest to misdemeanor and felony charges.

She was sentenced to five years probation.

DaniLeigh and DaBaby

The singer was previously arrested in November 2021 and charged with two counts of simple assault after rapper DaBaby put her and their daughter out of his house.

The “Yellow Bone” behavior of it all.
