Danileigh was arrested on Tuesday morning in Miami Beach and charged with driving under the influence and hit-and-run, which left the alleged victim with serious injuries.
According to police, the 28-year-old singer was driving at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of lanes near Miami Beach.
At some point, Danileigh struck someone on a motorized scooter and dragged the victim for about a block.
Eyewitnesses flagged down police who were able to initiate a traffic stop.
According to the police report Dani smelled of alcohol and failed the field sobriety test.
The officer claims she blew a 0.145 and 0.148, nearly twice the legal limit.
Danileigh was arrested and booked on three felony charges including driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and DUI damage to property.
Police say the victim in the hit-and-run was taken to a local hospital and treated for a kidney laceration and a spinal fracture.
It was just two years ago that Danileigh was arrested and charged with simple assault following a dispute with rapper DaBaby, who is the father of her 2-year-old daughter, Velour.
