Netflix has announced that the global superstar will headline the halftime show during NFL Christmas Gameday, streaming live on Wednesday, December 25.
Beyoncé’s performance will coincide with the second of Netflix’s two Christmas Day NFL matchups, featuring the Houston Texans taking on the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium at 4:30 PM ET.
Netflix Brings NFL Christmas Gameday to Fans
This year, Netflix becomes the ultimate holiday sports hub as it streams both marquee NFL Christmas Day games.
The action kicks off with the Kansas City Chiefs, reigning Super Bowl LVII champions, facing the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 PM ET.
The festivities continue at 4:30 PM ET, when the Texans host the Ravens.
True to NFL tradition, these games will also air on local broadcast networks in competing team cities and stream via NFL+ for U.S. mobile users.
Beyoncé: Back On The NFL Stage
Produced by Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, Beyoncé’s halftime show will mark her first live performance of tracks from her groundbreaking album, Cowboy Carter.
Known for bending genres and breaking records, the album promises to deliver a dynamic halftime set with a Texas-sized impact.
This won’t be Beyoncé’s first time commanding the NFL stage.
In 2013, she delivered an electrifying Super Bowl XLVII halftime show in New Orleans, joined by Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
In 2016, she made waves at Super Bowl 50, sharing the spotlight with Coldplay and Bruno Mars in a performance watched by over 115 million households.
