Amanda Seales took to social media over the weekend to bring attention to the fact that she has been excluded from the farewell episode of “The Real.”
The comedian, actress, and singer served as a co-host on the daytime talk show in 2020 during the sixth season.
But, the gig was short-lived and she left the show five months later.
Amanda later revealed:
It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to and where the people that are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled.
In the video posted on her Instagram page, Amanda showed the thumbnail for the final episode promo and said:
So apparently ‘The Real,’ in their finale episode, did promo.
I am not featured in this thumbnail and I am not featured in the farewell episode, apparently.
I’ll have some things to say about that.

While “The Real” should have done the right thing and included all of the hosts on the show over the course of the 1,360 episodes of the show.
It appears they reciprocated the energy Amanda Seales has given them since leaving the show.
You may recall, that she previously blasted them for biting her “Smart, Black & Funny” brand on the show.
During a recent visit to “The Breakfast Club,” Amanda addressed being purposefully excluded from the farewell show.
