Starz has announced Grammy Award-winning artists 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo will be joining the cast of “BMF” Season 3 in recurring roles.
The hit drama series dramatizes the inspiring true story of two brothers, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late ’80s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country: Black Mafia Family.
In January, Starz announced the series had been picked up for a third season.
In “BMF” Season 3, 2 Chainz will play “Stacks,” an Atlanta-born and bred distributor whose wisdom and stature command respect wherever he goes.
Fiercely loyal and determined to provide for his family no matter the cost, Stacks lives by the street code and challenges Meech’s leadership style.
Ne-Yo will play “Rodney ‘Greeny’ Green,” a local Atlanta player who’s all about making the bag.
Filled with swagger and an entrepreneurial spirit, there’s more than meets the eye with Greeny.
“BMF” Season 2 is still in progress and airing new episodes every Friday.
The cast includes Russell Hornsby (Charles Flenory) Michole Briana White (Lucille Flenory), Snoop Dogg (Pastor Swift), Myles Truitt (B-Mickie), LaLa Anthony (Markisha), Kashdoll (Monique), Leslie Jones (Special Agent in Charge Tracy Chambers), Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee (Deanna Washington), Mo’Nique (Goldie), Jennifer Sears and Jalen Rose.
