Starz is adding another high-octane series to its lineup with “The Nowhere Man,” a gripping six-part action drama starring Bonko Khoza, Naturi Naughton-Lewis, and Dineo Rasedile.
The series premieres Friday, January 16, 2026, with new episodes streaming weekly on the Starz app and all Starz on-demand platforms.
In “The Nowhere Man,” Khoza stars as Lukas, a former Special Forces mercenary struggling with PTSD who has abandoned his violent past and now survives as a junk collector on the streets of Johannesburg.
Determined to stay invisible, Lukas keeps to himself until he witnesses a home invasion and intervenes, a choice that pulls him back into the dangerous world he fought to escape.
Forced to confront the trauma and secrets tied to his former life, Lukas must face the emotional and psychological cost of violence while fighting to survive.
The series blends intense action with a character-driven story centered on guilt, redemption, and the long shadow of past choices.
Naturi Naughton-Lewis reunites with Starz in a dual role as star and executive producer, continuing her creative evolution beyond the “Power” universe.
Filmed on location in South Africa, “The Nowhere Man” is created by Motion Story and produced by Phillip Wolmarans and Nick Keulemans.
Fred Wolmarans and Gareth Crocker direct, with Crocker also serving as showrunner.
Executive producers include Chris Lawrance, Colleen Lawrance, Sean Mik’ael Butler, Naturi Naughton-Lewis, and Two Lewis, who is Naughton-Lewis’s husband.
