The BET Soul Train Awards 2023 aired on Sunday night with Keke Palmer as the host.
This year, the award show was marketed as “the feel good house party of the year” with Janelle Monáe being honored with the Spirit of Soul Award and T-Pain receiving the Legend Award.
SZA was the night’s top winner with four awards including Best R&B/soul Female Artist, Album of the Year for SOS, and both Song of the Year and the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award for her infectious hit, “Snooze.”
2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer Usher received three awards and seven-time Grammy-nominated recording artist Victoria Monét won two awards.
